Jharkhand Police asks banks to install security sensors to prevent incidents of loot

Ranchi, Apr 12: Jharkhand Police directed the banks of the
state capital and in the adjoining areas to install security sensors
inside the bank so that police gets immediate information in case of
any incident.
Further they have been also asked to keep a check on the capability
and availability of the bank guard which would be done by the local
police station or the security officer of the concerned bank. The
bankers were also instructed to keep a strict watch on the movement of
suspicious individuals near the banks and the ATMs so that these
elements can  not enter into  the bank. The banks were also asked to
keep an eye on the active bikers in their areas

.
The instructions from the Ranchi police followed after a high level
meeting in this regard was chaired ADG CID Ajay Kumar Singh who
reviewed the progress in cracking the bank loot cases which took place
during the last two years in Ranchi district. It was decided that DIG
of South Chottanagpur would establish coordination between the SP, DSP
and the investigating officer of the case to solve the bank loot cases
and if needed officials of the CID would also be asked to help as a
team.
The SSP Ranchi was also asked to undertake necessary action to crack
these cases of bank loot and also ensure the arrest of the culprits.
The SSP was also asked to fix the responsibility of the police
officials under whose areas the incidents of loot takes place.
Those present in the meeting also included  IG Sampat Meena. DIG AV
Homkar, SSP Ranchi Kuldeep Dwivedi, SP CID Narendra Kumar Singh, SP
Rural Rajkumar Lakra, SP City Kasuhal Kishore and from ATS A P
Dundung.
