Two arrested for killing deer in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Apr 10: Two people have been arrested for killing a Deer and carrying it in car in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district on Monday, police said.

According to police, two people who have been arrested are Amit Kumar Singh, an employee with the civil court in Hazaribag, and businessman Radhe Shyam Singh. Both were arrested when police patrolling party incepted the car in which they were travelling near  Tatijharia police station close to the Hazaribagh Wildlife sanctuary.

Police seized one rifle and 40 bullets from car.

Police is investigating why they were carrying the dead Deer in the car. The dead Deer kept in dickey of the Alto car.

In Jharkhand Deer are found in large numbers in Hazaribagh, Ranchi and other places.

The body of the dead Deer has been sent for postmortem.
