Ranchi, Mar 31: Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu launched a special
postal cover dedicated to the forest cover of the state ‘Jharkhand Ke
Van’ and ‘Rendezous with stamps’. at the Raj Bhawan here.
Among those who were also present on the occasion included Principal
Secretary to the Governor S K Sathpathy, Chief Post Master General
Jharkhand Anil Kumar and other officials of the Jhrakhand postal
department.
In the dedicated cover ‘Jharkhand Ke Van’ importance has been accorded
to the forests of Betla, Dalma, Saranda and Hazaribagh. The effort is
being seen as a better means to create awareness about the wildlife
and forest of the state.
