President to inaugurate heavy vehicle driver training institute in Deoghar and Godda

Ranchi, Mar 18 : Union Minister of State for Skill Development Rajiv Pratap Rudy  said that President Pranab Mukherjee would be arriving in Jharkhand on April 2 during which he would inaugurating heavy vehicle training institute of Deoghar and Godda.

Mr Rudy was reviewing the progress in work being done in the state by the skill development department. He said that the state government has given a proposal to the Centre to set up heavy vehicle training institute in every district which would help in preparing skilled drivers and also create employment opportunities.

Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sanjay Kumar said that in 17 districts land ha been provided for establishing skill development centers. In the remaining one month land would also be allocated in the remaining seven districts after which the process for establishment of heavy vehicle training centers would be done.

Those present included Godda MP nishikant Dubey, Secretary Higher and Technical Education Ajay Kumar Singh, Director Industries Ravi Kumar and CEO National Skill Development Manish Kumar.
