Cabinet approved Rs 30 crores for Smartphone to promote cashless transactions

Ranchi, Mar 28: The state cabinet has decided to transfer 19.62 acres
of land falling under Poriyaat circle area to the Union Railways
Ministry for the Hansdiha-Godda broad gauge railway line.
A decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by
Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the Project Building. Among the other
decision which were taken included that Grameen Prasar workers
appointed for world ban aided schemes would be absorbed.
A sum of Rs 53.79 crore has been approved for all round development of
Birsa Munda Airport Road to Birsa Chowk. The sum also included funds
sanctioned for land acquisition. The cabinet also gave its not to
Jharkhand Vendors (Livlihood Protection Scheme) 2017.
It was decided that 6.11 acres of land of Sahibganj circle area which
has been acquired by water resources department would be handed over
to national waterways authority. Administrative approval for a sum of
Rs 46.53 crore for strengthening and expansion of Deoghar (Rikhiya) to
Mohanpur road has also been granted.
The state government has decided to sanction a sum of Rs 30 crore for
distribution of smart phones among the members of women self help
groups to promote cashless transactions in the state. It was also
decided to approve Rs 68.36 crore for development of Patratu as a
large scale tourist destination.
