Barnwal hold reviews progress in addressal of complaints registered at Jan Samwad Kendra

Ranchi, Mar 28: State’s IT and Industries Department Secretary Sunil
Kumar Barnwal has directed to write a letter to the Principal
Secretary of the Home Department regarding the appointment of a kin of
Yogendra Nath Tudu who was killed by the Maoists in Saraikela-Kharsawn
district in 2014.
Reviewing the progress in solving of complaints at the Suchana Bhawan
here it was pointed out after two and half years into the incident the
family members of the deceased had still not got compensation neither
a job which was promised. Mr Barnwal  asked the Home Secretary to fix
responsibility in this regard and also asked him to identify the
officer due to whose negligence the compensation was denied. He said
that the Chief Minister’s secretariat would take action against such
official.
Over a complaint from Tudurama of Gumla district in which
irregularities were pointed out in repair of a dilapidated building of
the RC Primary School, he directed the nodal officer to conduct a
magistrate probe and asked that the repair work should be stopped
under the old scheme and new scheme should be undertaken.
In another complaint against the Mandu CO Ramprasad Sahu and his son
Ravindra Kumar who have been accused of illegally capturing the lands
in Anandpur Colony of Hazaribagh belonging to one Savita Kumari, Mr
Barnwal ordered the AC or the DCLR to conduct the probe. In a separate
complaint from Chatra district were it was pointed that forests were
illegal cut in Dokwa and Ichatu of Kunda he asked to issue a show
cause notice to the DFO concerned asking why no action was taken by
him.
