Rain and thunderstorms to continue in Jharkhand till May 16

Ranchi: Due to Cyclonic storm Asani and other factors rain and thunderstorms will continue to happen in the state till May 16.

The Weather Station has predicted that going forward East Singhbhum, Simdega, West Singhbhum, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Jamtara districts will receive rain and there is also a possibility of thunderstorms, along with this, strong winds will also blow.

Moreover, there is also q possibility of thunderstorms at some places in the south, central and northeastern parts of the state for which a yellow alert has been issued and people have been asked to stay in a safe place if the weather is bad. According to the forecast till May 16, there is a possibility of rain in different areas of Jharkhand. However, Cyclone Asani will not have much impact in Jharkhand.

From May 11 to 13, there will be a partial effect in some areas of Jharkhand. Due to the storm, there is a possibility of clouds and light rain in many areas of Jharkhand adjoining West Bengal. Scientists at the local weather station said that during this time the wind speed can be anywhere from 30 to 40 kmph.

Right now the people of Jharkhand have got relief from the heat. After the temperature rises during the day, the wind speed is getting faster than normal. Due to this, the maximum temperature of most of the districts of the state is running below 40 degree celsius.
