Deoghar airport will be milestone for development of Santhala Pargana: Raghubar

Ranchi, Mar 25: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that
Deoghar Airport will be a milestone for the all round development of
the Santhal Pargana region and that of the entire state.

 
The Chief Minister was speaking at a function organised at the
auditorium of his residence during a which three way Memorandum of
Understanding was inked between DRDO, Airports Authority of India and
the Jharkhand Government.
He said that the Deoghar Airport would be  ready by December 2019. He
said that the Prime Minister has said that the progress of the eastern
states in important and the Deoghar airport would play a crucial role
to attain that goal. Mr Das said that the airport would also promote
tourism and would be beneficial for the AIIMS which is being set up in
Deoghar.
The Chief Minister said that post the Global Investors Summit various
new investments would take place and the new airport and air
connectivity would further help to fuel growth and development in the
state.
Mr Das said that in the days to come work would also be initiated to
commence  air connectivity between Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dumka, Palamu,
Ranchi and Deoghar while proposal has also been floated to have a
flight between Ranchi-Chennai-Hyderabad. He said that air connectivity
has an important role to play in development of any place.
He said that in Jharkhand apart from road connectivity work was also
on in the area air connectivity and water connectivity. He said that
after the construction of bridge over Ganga in Sahibganj and
development of multi model hub economic activates will gather pace and
the area would see a rise in development.The Chief Minister said that
despite the global economic turmoils the Indian Economy was moving
rapidly and the 21st century would belong to our nation.
