Ranchi, Jul 19 : Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the
Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park will be made the country’s best
‘Shaheed Smarak Sathal’ but for that there needed to more research and
unique ideas should be put in place.
While looking at the presentation on the works to be done in the park
he said that jail should be visualised in such a manner that people
are taken back to the time of Birsa Munda and asked to make sure
that no changes are made in the old building and instructed to install
biggest statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda at the spot while apart from
that the pictures of soldiers from Jharkhand who laid down their lives
for the sake of the mother land should also be put up here.
Mr Das said that people coming to visit the park should get the feel
of how the jawans live at the borders. He said that entire life of
Bhagwan Birsa Munda should be depicted here and people should also be
informed about other tribal leaders who laid down their lives during
the independence movement. He said that old hospital should be
maintained as it was and even in the kitchen the utensils of that
period should be kept.
