Ccabinet approves financial assistance for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Ranchi, Jul 10: The Jharkhand Cabinet ​has decided to approve providing of financial assistance to the devotees from the state who will be undertaking the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

 

A decision in this regard was taken at the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here. Further it was also decided that the funds in the old PL account of Mango Municipal Corporation and Jugsalai Nagar Parishad will be transferred into new PL accounts.

 

The cabinet also decided to hand over 14.53 acres of land in Gamharia circle area of Sarikela-Kahrsawan district on a payment of Rs 12.17 crore to Araka Educational and Cultural Trust for a period of 30 years for education related activities.  In another key decision the state government a sum of Rs 750 crore would be released at one go for Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd so that it can make payment for the outstanding arrears of the DVC.
