‘Jawad’ remains ineffective in Jharkhand, mercury to dip from Tuesday

Ranchi: Cyclone ‘Jawad’ remained almost ineffective in Jharkhand. After two days of partly cloudy sky, Ranchi received light rain after midnight on Sunday whereas since Monday morning the sky remained completely clear and there was strong sunshine. On the other hand, in the last 24 hours, very light rain has been recorded in one or two districts.

Scientists at the local weather station said that on Monday, there was a partly cloudy sky in some parts of the state however from Tuesday, the weather of Jharkhand will be completely clear. He said that the cyclone that has arisen in the Bay of Bengal is moving north and northeast, shifting from the northwest and adjoining central west. It will further weaken into an area of low pressure. The MET said that the effect of easterly winds has reduced. Cold winds will blow from the northwest direction in two-three days, due to which the cold will increase. There will be a drop in maximum and minimum temperatures. The effect of snowfall and rain in the hills will be visible in the state as the
the temperature will drop.

An increase in the minimum temperature has been recorded in Jharkhand due to cloud cover. Daltonganj recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15.3 degrees celsius in the state in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the highest maximum temperature of 28.8 degree celsius has also been recorded in Daltonganj.
