Jharkhand cabinet to allot funds to encourage start up venture capital business

Ranchi, Jun 12: The Jharkhand Government has decided to sanction funds to encourage start up venture capital business in the state.

 

A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here. An official press release issued after the meeting said that the cabinet has decided to set up funds for Jharkhand Start up Capital, Jharkhand Venture Capital Trustee Ltd and MSME Funds.

 

The cabinet also approved amendments in Jharkhand Government Tool Room Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations. It was also decided that the anganwadi sevikas and sahaikas serving under holistic child development scheme will be entitled for a maximum 18 days of casual leave.

 

The government has also decided to make changes in the physical examination to be undergone for appointments in various posts under the state police. It was also decided that to strengthen the excise department various posts including that of excise inspector, assistant excise inspector, clerks etc will be reconstituted.
