DC reviews functioning of various departments, directs to Set up camps in puja pandals for green ration card

Ranchi: Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan on Saturday reviewed the functioning of the various departments during which senior officials of the district administration were also present.

Reviewing the progress on distribution of KCC it was informed that till now 50,000 KCC applications have been executed in the district, for generating more applications and execution of applications under the scheme, he directed all the BDOs to hold BLBC meetings with the bankers every Thursday. He said that all the forms that have been submitted should be matched with the bank, as well as the errors of the forms being rejected should be resolved.

While reviewing the Livestock Development Scheme he directed the Deputy Development Commissioner to review the scheme from time to time with all the BDOs. After receiving the form related to this scheme, all the BDOs were instructed by the Deputy Commissioner to hold a meeting with the TVOs of the block.

The plans of the Rural Development Department were also reviewed by the Deputy Commissioner in the meeting. He directed that every effort should be made to complete the convergence of the schemes of ITDA, which can be converted. During the meeting, the DC asked DPM JSLPS to work on a war footing in a planned manner for special progress in Phool Jhano Yojana. In this regard, he directed to form a committee under the chairmanship of Director DRDA.

The block-wise review of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana was done by him and he directed to approve all the schemes related to PMAY and Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana by October 15. After the death of the main beneficiary of the family from Covid-19, the Deputy Commissioner also directed to conduct a special survey for providing house to the widow under the Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana.
