Monsoon starts retreating from state, minimum temperature to decline from next week

Ranchi: Monsoon has started retreating from the state as a result of which from the next week the minimum temperature in the capital is likely to come down further. The weather department has said that the weather will remain clear during the period of Durga Puja.

It said that in western and northwestern India an anticyclonic circulation has been formed due to which in the last 24 hours from some areas of Rajasthan the Monsoon has started retreating and in the next few days from the Western states the process of retreating will commence however its impact will not be seen in Jharkhand.

The weather station said that in all the districts the minimum temperature will start to decrease from the next month due to which in the morning and night the people will feel chill in the air. In the last 24 hours across the state, Monsoon has remained a week with Bokaro reporting a maximum rainfall of 17.8 mm while Jamshedpur was the hottest at 36 degrees.
