PM to lay foundation of Sindri Fertilizer plant on May 25: Chief Minister

Ranchi, May 25: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar DasĀ  confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving in the state on May 25 during which he will be laying the foundation stone to commence work to re-open the Sindri Fertilser Plant.

 

Addressing a press conference at the project building here he said that during the Lok Sabha polls and the assembly elections Mr Modi had made a promise to the people in this regard and now he was coming to fulfill the promise. He said that a sum of Rs 6,500 crore will be spent on the fertiliser plant and added that what was important that on May 25 Prime Minister was completing four years in power at the centre.
Mr Das said that apart from the Sindri Power Plant, the Prime Minister will also lay foundation for Patratu Power Plant, Deoghar AIIMS and Airport, Deoghar CIPET while the state government will also make efforts so that foundation for medical colleges in Koderma and Chatra are also laid on the same day.
Mr Das said that after returning from Dhanbad the Prime Minister will be chairing a meeting with the DCs of the most backward districts of the state in which discussions over problems and their possible solutions will be worked out.
