Jharkhand to get investment of Rs 2700 crores in Fourth ground breaking ceremony: Barnawal

Ranchi, Apr 27: The fourth ground breaking ceremony as part of the momentum Jharkhand summit would be held in  Kumaitha, Deoghar on April 27.

Principal Secretary of of Chief Minister and secretary of  Department of Industry, Mines and Geology Sunil Kumar Barnwal in  a press conference organized at Suchna Bhawan said that  151 companies are going to invest in the state and through this there will be investment of more than 2700 crore.

 

The Secretary said that these companies will give employment to more than 10 thousand people directly and to 25 thousand people indirectly. Mr Barnwal said that the Government is organizing foundation laying function every three months.

Adding further he said that there has been a capital investment of more than 8,800 crore in the state so far, more than 60 thousand people have received direct employment and around 1.75 lakh people have received indirect employment opportunities.

He said that under the policy of the government the land is being given to the textile industry, food processing park, educational institution, hospital, industries etc. The Government is organizing foundation laying in different areas for the development of industries in the state which in turn would also increase the Employment opportunities for the people of the area along with this, the entrepreneurs who want to start investing with lower capital will also be encouraged.

The government is building an airport in these areas on priority basis and infrastructure is being developed by constructing roads. Out of 151 projects of this function, 26 projects are located in Santhal Pargana. This has created an atmosphere of investment in the state and a large number of new investors are showing their interest in the investment in Jharkhand, he added.
