Driving a vehicle becomes expensive in Jharkhand as increase in all types of charges

The cabinet has approved the Motor Vehicle Amendment Rules 2021 of the Transport Department under this, every application fee, license check fee, permit fee related to motor vehicle has been increased up to double.

However relief has been given to private vehicle operators, but the permit fee for motor cabs, passenger vehicles has been increased.

Now for a five-year permanent permit for a passenger bus, up to Rs 9000 will be charged.  Permit fee has also been increased for different categories of cabs.

The Transport Department has increased various charges after eight years to increase the revenue.

Following is the new list of charges–

Apprentice License Check Fee Rs 200 instead of Rs 100

The fee for each check for acceptance of driver’s license is Rs 500 instead of Rs 300.

The replacement fee of the photograph was changed from Rs 60 to Rs 100.

Second per driver license fee from Rs 150 to Rs 300.

The fee for each document copy was increased from Rs 150 to Rs 300.

The fee for each copy of the driver’s license return ranged from Rs 50 to Rs 100.

The fee for medical certificate was increased to Rs 150 instead of Rs 60.

The verification fee for the approval of the carrier license was increased from Rs 100 to Rs 200.

The fee for acceptance and replacement of badges was Rs 100 instead of Rs 50.

The fee for the second copy of the carrier’s license was Rs 100 instead of Rs 50.

Rs 250 instead of Rs 150 for appeal under Motor Vehicles Act.

As per the Fee Act, the fee for the copy of the facility provided is Rs 150 instead of Rs 60.

The fee for each document under Rule 58A is Rs 150 instead of 60.

For extension of certificate of eligibility, instead of Rs 120, Rs 250 will be charged.

Fee for Provisional Registration Certificate and Extension – 200 in two wheeler, LMC 200, LMC 250, Rs 250 in HMV.

The five-year permanent permit fee for special passenger trains has been increased from Rs.6000 to Rs 9000.

The five-year permanent permit fee in passenger bus has been increased from Rs 6000 to Rs 9000.

Permanent permit fee for special motor cabs increased from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000.

The five-year permit fee for two different sectors with a casual or special motorcab has been increased from Rs 6000 to Rs 9000.

Permanent permit fee for cab, car with meter increased from Rs 2000 to Rs 4000.

Car permit fee increased from Rs 3600 to Rs 6000 for two zones.

Permit fee for one or more areas in the cab has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15000.

Five years permit fee for two areas with different meter or without meter from motor cab Rs.6000 instead of Rs.3600.

The five-year permit was increased from 6 thousand to 9 thousand for more than two areas of public vehicle goods.

The five-year permit for vehicles carrying more than nine passengers, except private motorcars, was increased from one thousand to two thousand.

The fee for five years for the special passenger bus permit was increased to five hundred instead of three hundred.

Passenger car bus permit of five years 500 instead of three hundred.

The application fee for permit for motor cab is Rs 300 instead of Rs 150.

Application fee for permit of goods vehicles has been increased to Rs 300.

Application fee for permit except private motor vehicle is Rs 300 instead of Rs 150.

Permit fee of Rs 5000 instead of Rs 2400 for more than one route within the state, sub-regions.

The application fee for countersigning the temporary permit was Rs 1,000.

Timetable change fee Rs 5000.

For distance measurement, the authority will charge Rs25 km.

Application fee for temporary cargo permit is Rs 500.
