More relaxations announced: Shops to remain open till 8 pm, buses allowed within state

Ranchi: The state government on Wednesday announced a fresh set of relaxations as per which shops across all the 24 districts will remain open till 8 pm.

All government and private offices will be able to open with 50 percent human resources.

All shops (including vegetable-fruit-grocery shops) will remain closed from 8 pm on Saturday to 6 am on Monday. Establishments related to healthcare and milk stores will remain open. Cinema halls, bars, multiplexes, restaurants will be able to open with 50 percent capacity. Stadiums, gymnasiums, and parks will be able to open.

All educational institutions will remain closed. Anganwadi centers will remain closed but food items will be provided to the beneficiaries at home. There will be a ban on the gathering of more than 50 people. Banquet halls and community halls will be able to open but there will be a ban on the gathering of more than 50 people. Religious places will remain closed for devotees.

Prohibition on procession will continue. Bus transport allowed within the state. The ban on interstate bus transport will continue. Public transport vehicles can seat a number of passengers as prescribed by the rules.

The examinations conducted by the state will be postponed.

The ban on fairs and exhibitions will continue. E-pass will not be necessary to go from one district to another within the state by private vehicle.

However, E-pass will be necessary to come to Jharkhand from other state or to go from Jharkhand to other states. Those coming to Jharkhand from another state will not have 7 days home quarantine. Extensive testing of visitors will be done.

Wearing of mask in public places and maintaining social distance is mandatory. In case of violation of the order, action will be taken by registering an FIR under the relevant section of the Disaster Management Act. The said order shall remain in force till further orders.
