Government focused on better healthcare management to check spread of Covid: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday said that the government is focused on better healthcare management to control the spread of Coronavirus in the state.

He said that the state government is making all possible efforts to prevent the spread of the virus and provide the best healthcare facilities to the people. Hemant Soren said that the state government has commenced its preparations to tackle the third wave of Coronavirus.

The Chief Minister lauded the act of the UNICEF which had donated many important equipments and apparatus to the state in the battle against Coronavirus. He said that along with UNICEF many other organisations are also taking steps in the battle against Coronavirus.

The Chief Minister said that the equipments and items provided by UNICEF will be indeed beneficial to tackle the battle against Coronavirus and will help to save many precious lives. He thanked the entire team of UNICEF for its initiative and said that by working together the battle against Coronavirus will be won.

Head for UNICEF in Jharkhand Prashant Das said that to tackle the pandemic oxygen concentrators is being provided to the state while for better management cold chain apparatus, RTPCR machine and masks are being also provided. He said that UNICEF will continue to work together with the government to tackle the pandemic.

UNICEF provided 3 RTPCR machines, 20 lakh three-layered masks, 800 oxygen concentrators, 2 walking coolers, 1 walking freezer, 90 ice line refrigerators, 27 deep freezers and 511 large cold chain box.

Additional Chief Secretary Health Arun Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey and others were present on the occasion.
