Ranchi: DC Chhavi Ranjan on Wednesday chaired a high level meeting in wake of partial lockdown to be imposed in the state capital during which senior officials of the district administration were present.
During the meeting the DC asked the officials to make sure that all the restrictions which have imposed in wake of Swasthya Suraksha Saptah to be observed from April 22, 6 am to April 29, 6 am.
During the meeting, the DC appealed to Chambers of commerce to make sure that all the shops and business establishments follow the orders of the state government and warned of strict action if shops will be caught flaunting the instructions. He said that the district administration should not be forced to take action against DM Act. He said that the shops found violating the guidelines will be sealed till April 29.
He said that during this week shops related to garments, shoe, jewellery will be completely closed while works related to Industries, mining and agriculture will continue.
The DC said that people will be not allowed to seat in the restaurants and even takeaway is prohibited, only home delivery is allowed. He asked the people to opt for home delivery and not go for take away.
The DC asked the chamber of commerce to release the number of such shops which will do home delivery. He said that shops related to grocery, FMCG, sweets, mutton will be opened but their should be no crowding at the shops as they too will make home delivery.
He said that for the entire week the capital has been divided into zones and deputed magistrates will also run the campaign apart from that incident commanders will also run campaigns for two days to make sure that all the guidelines are followed.
The DC said that from the sweet shops only home delivery will be made and even grocery shops will give priority to home delivery and if they sell the products from their shops not more than five people should be allowed. Apart from that all bars will be closed while liquor shops will be opened and along with that books and stationery shops will remain closed.
