Raghubar accuses opposition of running away from assembly

Dumka, Dec 5: Rejecting the allegations of the opposition of
organising a very small winter session of the assembly Jharkhand Chief
Minister Raghubar Das has accused the opposition of running away from
the key issues related to the development of the people of the state.

Addressing a press conference at the Raj Bhawan here he said that
Assembly was the biggest panchayat in democracy where the opposition
and the ruling parties hold discussions over issues related to the
welfare of the people and take positive decisions however the
opposition does not have any respect for the prestige of  the house.
He said that it was indeed very unfortunate that the MLAs of the main
opposition party the JMM remained absent during the state foundation
ceremony.

Attacking the JMM he said that comrade A K Rai, Binod Bihari Mahto and
Shiu Soren had framed the JMM to get a separate state of Jharkhand and
it was the than Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who created the
separate state of Jharkhand but now there was no need of JMM here.
