Raghubar directs police to improve functioning during Siddhi Baat

Ranchi, Oct 31: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das participated in the Siddhi Baat programme at the Suchana Bhawan here during which he ordered for a CID probe to be completed in two months regarding the accidental death of a student of Delhi Public school of the state capital.

A complaint in this regard was brought before the Chief Minister by the mother of the deceased DPS student Antariksh Sanigrahi who was killed in a road accident on 25th July 2016, the mother of the student said that the police should try to detect the conspirator behind the accident.

She said that the boy’s father and grandfather may be involved in the accident. She said that the guilty should not be left free and the innocent should not be punished. The Chief Minister directed to reopen the case and hand over the case to CID. He said that the CID should inspect and report in two months.

In connection of abduction and rape of an underage girl of Chainpur, Gumla by Anwar Khan, Mr Das asked why the police could not trace the girl or the accused even after tracing his mobile number in Delhi. It is the second time he has kidnapped the girl. First time he kidnapped and raped her in the nearby forest on 2nd September 2017. On 4th September,  a case was lodged but the police could not arrest the accused. The accused abducted the girl on 26th October 2017 once again.
Expressing his concern over closing the case of acid burnt Navin Kumar Jha of Dhanbad despite providing the police the mobile number of the person who called him on the spot, the Chief Minister directed to suspend the Officer-in-Charge and directed Dhanbad SP  to sort out the case on priority and find out the person having the mobile number.
