State plan approval committee approves 8 proposals worth Rs 3415.93 crore

Ranchi, Oct 18: The state plan approval committee chaired by Development Commissioner Amit Khare has approved a total of 8 proposals worth Rs 3415.93 crore which have been forwarded to the Chief Minister for final approval.

The committee has approved a sum of Rs 1475 crore for building the three 500 bed hospitals in Dumka, Hazaribagh and Palamu. It also approved a sum of Rs 1192.91 crore for establishment of 14 new power distribution projects in command areas of DVC.

Out of these 6 projects worth Rs 549.71 crore would be done by taking 90 per cent loan from Nabard while 10 pc would be done through equity. 8 projects worth Rs 643.20 crore would be executed by taking loan from the state government.

A sum of Rs 429.29 crore has been approved for building 500 bed hospital in MGM Medical college in Jamshedpur. A sum of Rs 88.14 crore for Jhar cert has also been approved. The committee also approved a proposal worth Rs 17.54 crore for management funds for the Mukyamantri Laghu and Kutir Udyam Vikas Board.

The committee also approved various proposals alongwith their budgetary allocations to set trauma centers in various districts and also for construction and equipments for up gradation and strengthening if emergency facilities at various other trauma centers.
