Ranchi: Ward Councillor Roshni Khalkho on Tuesday surrendered before the civil court in connection with attack on CM’s Convoy case.
For the last 50 days she had been evading arrest however due to rising police pressure she was forced to surrender. Roshni surrendered before the court of judicial magistrate Abhishek Prasad who later forwarded her to 14 days of judicial custody. Before surrender she had filed for bail which was rejected by the court after which she was forced to surrender.
Some days earlier police had taken into custody her for questioning and had also conducted raids at the homes of her relatives due to which she was under pressure to surrender.
