Ranchi: A delegation of Jharkhand Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste employees association met Chief Minister Hemant Soren and also handed over a memorandum to him.
The members of the delegation apprised the Chief Minister regarding the recommendations which has been made by the Vidhansabha committee headed by MLA Deepak Biruwa to look into the irregularities committed in promotion of ST/SC government employees.
The delegation urged the Chief Minister that as per the recommendations made by the committee necessary action should be taken and senior government officials who have been impacted should be given promotion along with monetary benefits.
Those present included president of the association Rakesh Prasad, General Secretary Nathan Razak and others.
