Ranchi: DGP MV Rao on Monday felicitated the police personnel including IG Human Rights Akhilesh Jha and Ranchi SSP Surendra Kumar Jha for cracking the Sufiya Parveen murder case within 13 days.
The DGP had on a press conference held on January 15 had announced that police personnel who were involved in cracking the case will be felicitated.
Among others who received the felicitation from the DGP included Ranchi Rural SP Naushad Aalam, DSP Headquarters One Neeraj Kumar, DSP Silli Chandrashekhar Azad, DSP Khelari Manoj Kumar, DSP Cyber Yashodhara Kumari, Inspector Ormanjhi Asit Kumar Modi, Sub Inspector Vinay Kumar Yadav.
Beheaded body of Sufiya Parveen was found from Jirabari forest on January 3.
