20 point programme committees to be formed soon: Rameshwar Oraon

Ranchi: JPCC chief and Finance Minister Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that the 20 point programme and monitoring committee will be formed soon in the state in which the party workers will get there due place as incharge for party affairs in the state RPN Singh himself was monitoring the entire situation seriously.

He said that much should not be read into his visits to New Delhi as due to coronavirus he could not visit the national capital but has recently come twice. He said that in his visit apart from some personal work he will be also interacting with senior leaders of the party.

Dr Oraon said that in the next few months elections will be held in the states of West Bengal and Assam. He said that while Jharkhand shares its border with West Bengal a large population from Jharkhand lives in Assam and the party leaders and workers from Jharkhand will be supporting Congress candidates in these two states and over these issues also discussions is being held with the high command and election campaign is been given final touches.

He said that currently leader of Legislature wing Alamgir Alam has gone on a visit to the neighbouring state. The finance minister said that despite all the odd circumstances the state government as per its manifesto provided a loan waiver to the farmers and was also successful in providing ration to the poor and the needy further 15 lakh poor are being provided with green ration card. He said that in his visit to the national capital he will take suggestions from the senior leaders of the party and will try to include the same in the upcoming budget of Jharkhand.

Dr Oraon said that in the politics of Jharkhand tribals have a very important role to play as out of the 28 seats reserved for the tribals in Jharkhand 26 are with the parties which are part of the government in the state.
