Barnwal gives one week time to non performer districts to improve their work

Ranchi, Sep 19: Secretary to Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Sunil Kumar Barnwal chaired the weekly review of the complaints registered at the Jan Samwad Kendra here.

During the review meeting he asked the poor performing district in addressal of complaints including that of East Singhbhum, Palamu, Dhanbad, Deoghar and Saraikela Kharsawan to improve their performance and gave them a time frame of a week to improve their performance. A total of 12 complaints were reviwed by him during the programme.

Over a complaint from Jaridih of Bokaro he expressed dissatisfaction as a wrong report had been submitted over the illegal occupation of a community hall. He directed the official to take strict action against the CO to sending the wrong report and ensure that the building is removed from illegal occupation.

The Secretary also expressed his anguish over the functioning of the Ranchi Municpal Corporation as the RMC has failed to take action over illegal encroachment of land and illegal shops being run in Upper Bazar of the state capital. He directed that all illegal construction be immediately be stopped in Upper Bazar area.
