Maoists killed husband and wife in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Sept 18: Maoist Guerrillas killed husband and wife in Jharkhand’s Gumla district on Monday, Police said.

According to Police, Maoist Guerrillas numbering 10 to 12 belonging to People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) entered into house Amush Kereketa and dragged him out from his house and shot dead. His wife Catherine Kereketa tried to save him and she was killed by the Maoists.

The incident took place at Konsa village sitauted Kamdara police station of Gumla district  which is around 140 Km from Ranchi.

Maoists left a pamphalet terming Amush as  police informer.

 

Maoist Guerrillas are acive in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
